They believe that fast charging is not fast enough and that it might be a reason why more people do not drive more electric vehicles. With the help of Siemens Xcelerator, they are designing, building and engineering their Revolution car, an all-electric car that demonstrates its next-generation battery packs in Le Mans race in June. Objective: make the charging time as fast as possible – 12 minutes to charge from 20% to 80%. If it works at the 24 Hours of Le Mans, then it’s going to work everywhere, which can accelerate adoption of electric vehicles.
