The Drivery and EIT Urban Mobility forge exclusive partnership to accelerate urban mobility innovation in Germany

The Drivery, a global innovation ecosystem for mobility, and EIT Urban Mobility,  an initiative of the  European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), a body of the European Union and the largest European innovation community for urban mobility, are excited to announce an exclusive partnership. The partnership is aimed at transforming European urban spaces into more liveable environments through  cutting-edge urban mobility solutions and sustainable innovation.

The purpose of the partnership is to strengthen EIT Urban Mobility’s presence in Berlin by supporting German and European mobility startups, while providing tailored assistance to EIT Urban Mobility’s European equity portfolio companies seeking to enter the German market. In the long term, the partnership aims to establish a robust network of partners to enhance European investment and innovation by designing and delivering impactful pan-European strategic initiatives.

With a shared mission to improve the quality of life in urban areas, address climate change, and create jobs within Europe’s mobility sector, the joint activities will focus on key areas such as: the electrification of public transport, innovation in urban logistics, the convergence of health and mobility, advanced mobility data management.

This collaboration offers members of The Drivery exclusive access to EIT Urban Mobility’s investment programmes, including the financial support to startups call, which has helped startups raise over €40 million. Additionally, startups within The Drivery’s ecosystem can explore bespoke funding opportunities and benefit from a dynamic network dedicated to sustainable urban development.
