Gold becomes more money again

The importance of gold and silver as safe havens appears to be growing even further. This is not least due to concerns about the US economy. After all, the current US president has now also indicated that a possible recession could come as a result of his policies. Fears and uncertainties are therefore on the rise, which plays into the hands of the gold price. Another reason for the strength of the gold price is likely to be the net inflows into gold ETFs. These were higher in February than they have been for almost three years. Investors are therefore backing gold, not only in the US, but also in China at the moment. Gold ETF holdings there rose by almost 19 percent. Gold retains or even increases its value in times of crisis, but the situation is different with currencies, which cause a loss of purchasing power. Gold mining shares are worth considering as an addition to physical gold. Calibre Mining or Southern Cross Gold are likely to be among the high-quality stocks
Calibre Mining – https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/calibre-mining-corp/ – is a leading mid-tier gold producer active in North, Central and South America. In 2024, the record amount of more than 240,000 ounces of gold was produced. And the Valentine gold mine is expected to produce its first gold this year. Interested investors should note the previously announced merger of Calibre Mining and Equinox Gold.
Southern Cross Gold – https://www.commodity-tv.com/ondemand/companies/profil/southern-cross-gold-consolidated-ltd/ – has the Sunday Creek project in the Australian state of Victoria, which is considered an excellent and high-grade exploration discovery. Antimony is contained as a by-product. Other projects are located in Australia and Queensland.
Current company information and press releases from Southern Cross Gold (- https://www.resource-capital.ch/en/companies/mawson-gold-ltd/ -) and Calibre Mining (- https://www.resource-capital.ch/en/companies/calibre-mining-corp/ -).
