The international intralogistics community met in Stuttgart from March 11 to 13 for LogiMAT 2025, the International Trade Show for Intralogistics Solutions and Process Management, under this year’s theme of “Passion for Solutions.” After three days of informative presentations highlighting current industry trends, the assessment of both visitors and exhibitors as well as the event management team was resoundingly positive. Organizers booked 1,625 exhibitors from 40 countries this year, including over 300 first-time exhibitors, filling more than 125,000 square meters of gross exhibit floor space across all ten fully booked exhibit halls of the Messe Stuttgart convention center. “An optimized floor plan helped us accommodate more exhibitors by freeing up an additional 1,000 square meters for a total of 68,192 square meters net exhibit space,” explains LogiMAT Exhibition Director Michael Ruchty from event organizer EUROEXPO Messe- und Kongress-GmbH. More than one in three exhibitors this year (35.9%) came to Stuttgart from outside Germany – a quarter of those from outside Europe.
In the course of the three-day event, exhibitors showcased their latest product innovations for efficiency and sustainability in intralogistics, including some 140 European and global product launches. Many exhibitors also reported signing major contracts, launching projects, and initiating strategic partnerships – including the Brabender Group from Switzerland, supply chain solutions provider Ecovium, battery supplier Wiferion, software company TUP, and AI robotics firm Sereact. A total of 22.1% of industry professionals in attendance awarded a contract during the show or plan to do so immediately afterward. “The many deals that were inked underscore LogiMAT’s character as an event where professionals come to do business,” affirms Exhibition Director Ruchty.
The intralogistics event drew a consistently high number of visitors, with a total of 65,719 industry professionals (2024: 67,420) attending over three days. “LogiMAT 2025 nearly matched last year’s record number of visitors despite labor strikes at airports and on public transit in the area around the venue,” notes Exhibition Director Ruchty with satisfaction. An analysis conducted by independent market research institute Wissler & Partner from Basel found that half of visiting professionals (49.9%) had decision-making authority in their companies, and 36.4% were there with specific investment projects in mind. Broken down by sector, 55% of visitors came from the manufacturing sector and 11.2% from wholesale and retail. Over 40% of visitors traveled more than 300 km to attend, with 23.1% coming from outside of Germany and nearly half of them (9.4%) from Asia, Africa, and the Americas. The longest journey was undertaken by attendees from Australia.
“Aside from the strict expo character of the event, LogiMAT’s success can be attributed to the basic soft skills in our concept,” Ruchty concludes. “This added value stems in part from the expertise shared in the event’s conference-level accompanying program, exciting live events, and the Mobile Robotics User Forum.” The career and networking event LogiMAT Campus, whose format was further optimized this year, was an extra bonus on the show’s last day. “LogiMAT Campus was launched last year to expand the range of recruiting tools available to exhibitors and to open the door to a career in logistics for skilled job candidates,” explains Ruchty. “At the new location in the ICS Foyer, exhibitors reported a strong increase in interest compared to last year.” LogiMAT Campus featured 16 exhibitors talking to entry-level professionals about career opportunities in their companies.
“With the generally positive feedback from industry professionals and exhibitors, LogiMAT has firmly established itself as a barometer of new trends, a networking platform, and a working trade show on the international stage,” Ruchty concludes. “For the intralogistics industry, it’s a gathering of superlatives.”
The next LogiMAT event is coming up soon: LogiMAT China will be held in Shenzhen April 24–26, 2025. LogiMAT Southeast Asia opens its doors in Bangkok October 15–17, 2025. And LogiMAT India returns to Mumbai February 5–7, 2026. The next LogiMAT in Stuttgart will take place March 24–26, 2026.
